Why You Should Consider St.Kitts and Nevis citizenship by Investment Program

Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Saint Kitts and Nevis (KN) is one of the most idyllic islands in the Caribbean Sea. With beautiful beaches, fantastic landscapes, and an extremely diverse culture, KN might be an island you should put on your radar when looking to relocate to the Caribbean.

Honestly, the double-island nation is a hidden treasure, with most unfortunately not knowing of the nation’s existence. Originally home to both French and English colonists, KN is a commonwealth nation, making getting around the islands a breeze for English speakers. Additionally, KN is one of the smallest nations in the Western Hemisphere with a little over 54,000 residents, which means the beautiful beaches and mountainous landscape won’t be too crowded for you and your family to enjoy.

Once again, if you’re looking to relocate to an island, one of the easiest ways to move forth with this process is by investment by residency. Lucky for you, St.Kitts and Nevis has one of the most simple processes in the Caribbean.

Here’s what you’ll need to commit to in order to begin the residency process:

- Sustainable Growth Fund Contribution

- For a single applicant, a non-refundable contribution of $150,000 must be submitted. If you are a part of a family of no more than four members, this number increases to $190,000, with each sibling adding another $20,000 to the total payment. If you have a non-family member wanting to relocate with you and your family, this requires an additional $10,000.

- Real Estate Purchase

- A real estate purchase on St.Kitts and Nevis of at least $200,000 in value must be purchased from an approved real estate development firm on the islands.

After completing these two steps with the St.Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit, expect a time frame of anywhere between 40-60 days to process your application. Be sure to carefully fill out the information provided to you for this process, as the Investment Unit is quite strict and won’t hesitate to deny anyone whose information isn’t clear.

Once approved by the Investment Unit, the prime minister of St.Kitts and Nevis will sign off on the certification declaring you an official citizen of the island nation. From here, you may register for a KN passport.

What are the benefits of the St.Kitts and Nevis Residency by Investment plan?

- Citizenship-by-be-descent

- Dual citizenship

- No minimum stay required

- Visa-free travel to 150+ nations around the globe, and others.
